Full Image & Vector Color Conversion
This feature has been in development for nearly two years, and results are already very promising. PDF-X file conversion is now complete. We have developed a high-performance, full-featured PDF interpreter based on the current official specification, allowing lossless color conversions from PDF to PDF without flattening.
This ongoing development addresses the complexities of the PDF format, including diverse object types, color definitions, overprint states, and the frequent generation of non-compliant PDFs by popular publishing software.
How does this differ from existing PDF-to-PDF tools?
Most existing converters rely on intermediate PostScript conversion—a legacy page description language from the 1990s. This method strips away modern PDF features and can cause unpredictable changes due to object flattening.
Our native PDF-conversion engine maintains PDF integrity throughout the process. By building a new interpreter from the ground up, we ensure future-proofing, flexibility, and independence from third-party constraints.
New Web User Interface
The current web interface is based on an open-source file management system, which presents challenges in terms of maintenance, updates, and performance.
To address this, we developed a completely new web interface, built from scratch in the modern programming language Go. This new UI delivers:
- Up to 400x faster response times
- Drastically reduced data transfer volumes
- Enhanced security through minimal use of JavaScript and reduced dependencies
